Boarding

The Auburnmist Training Centre has a small, unique boarding facility, offering only 12 kennels. The dogs get out often, playing in the fenced one acre off-leash park. The unique aspect the facility offers is that dogs are allowed to interact with one another in the off-leash park. Dogs are social pack animals and this interaction is important for their mental well being. The boarding facility is a canine camp for dogs.

The dogs can play and interact with one another! There are tunnels and jumps for them to play with as well. On hot summer days there is a doggy pool for them to cool off in.

The boarding facility gets booked very quickly during the summer months, Christmas, Easter and usually long weekends. The Auburnmist Training Centre recommends that owners book their dogs in early in ensure that there is space available.

The Auburnmist Training Centre recommends that all dogs should be vaccinated against bordetella, also known as, kennel cough. Kennel cough is a canine cold, easily transmitted from one dog to the next.

Check out time is 12:00 noon, to avoid a surcharge of $15 per dog for dogs picked up between 4:30 – 5:30 PM.
